Does anyone know what the Accutron resistor code is. I'd like to try to find a modern day replacement if possible for possibly repairing defective coils which i believe have bad resistors.

I have a 1976 Bulova Oceanographer with a Japan marked dial and movement. I was wondering if anyone knew who made the movement? Miyota, Citizen, Seiko? About when was the changeover from Swiss to Japanese in the Bulova branded watches.

I have a decent collection of Japanese made watches (mostly Seiko), so a Japanese movement in a Bulova isn't a deal breaker when I buy one. One of my newer Bulova watches is from the current Citizen ownership era.

I have eelatively recently started to collect military watches (Bulova amongst them) and have read a lot on the forums about Radium and the health issues that come with it's deterioration in the form of radon gas emissions. Even a small collection in an enclose dspace can present with readings well above recommended safety limits.
