Accutron Astronaut questions
Hello everyone!
I am starting to search for my first Accutron Astronaut and I could use some opinions on what to look for.
1) Are certain dial colors rarer than others?
2) Are some bezels more desirable? (night/day vs. regular, silver vs. gold)
3) Does the bracelet matter? Is there a standard version that came with it or were there a large variety?
This information would help me better understand which models I should be ready to step up for pricewise.
Thanks!
Swap movement, bridge or not?
Recently I bought a decent Bulova Senator with year Mark M0 on the case. The movement seems not original as it has N0 as year mark. Fortunately I have a few 11AF movements in stock (L9, M0 and M3) which leaves me with 3 options:
1) Bad luck. Leave the N0 in.
2) Replace only the N0 barrel bridge for a M0 bridge.
3) Replace the complete N0 movement for the M0 movement.
Appreciate your comments...
WWII A-11 Issue Box
Hello Group -
I am looking for anyone that may have a better photo of the attached box sealing tape, in particular the logo seen on the left side of the bottom, (it appears to be a coat of arms with planes circling a globe ??). These attached photos were downloaded from a search that popped up when looking for original packing and I am yet to find the original posting site.
In making a few boxes for my own collection, I have been able to source all other aspects except for the tape. Any leads on what that logo may look like are greatly appreciated.
Any Bulova reverso type ? like reverso jaeger lecoultre
Good afternoon Bulovarians !
I have a question for the forum, I like Bulova and the reverso type from Jaeger lecoultre and I would like to know if Bulova released a model like the reverso of Jaeger lecoultre ?
Thank you by advance for your helps.

Is it Bulova?
I stumbled across this watch today at a flea market. It says Bulova on the front but the back has no date code I recognize or a serial number. There is a "5" and under that is says "Sterling" Once if figure how, I will upload picts.
Frozen canon pnion
Howdy,
Disassembling 10AK 21J movement and am unable to remove the canon pinion. Tried the usual presto tool, then stout tweezer, then pin vise. Won’t budge. Tried watch oil, clock oil, penetrating oil between center wheel and CP and soldering iron to apply heat hoping the oil will travel inside the CP. Have tried several rounds of this for a couple of days. All the tools will slip off while the CP stays put. Pinion is a closed top. Anyone have similar challenge or advice? Thanks.

Hi,
I'm wondering if I can find a bezel for this watch. And/or I noticed this year there's a remake of this watch, and the limited edition has the same case size, so what's the likelihood Bulova will sell a new bezel for this series....and that it will fit. Note, the basic model remake is a different size.
Bulova Duncan 1948 7 AK 21 Jewels Button
Good afternoon,
I've been searching the Web, E-Bay etc for a 1948 movement for spares for my watch. The part I was looking for is the " Bulova Stamped Button" which was on the watch when I received it over 30 years ago, however those that I found were unstamped.
The nearest I found was a 7 AK movement vintage 1949 with a stamped button, but not a Duncan judging by the Dial and I tust this will be a suitable replacement.
