I have 15k+ crystals, mostly glass non-round, to fit most of the major watch brands. I do have a couple hundred glass rounds and a few in plastic.
The following just covers those that have been id'd by brand thus far and are the total of unique part #s. As time allows I will continue to id the unknown. Most are BB brand, along with Watch-Craft, Federal & Fulton.
Bulova 900+
Elgin 1400+
Gruen 1100+
Hamilton 600+
Benrus 600+
Longines-Wittnauer 400+
And many more for other brands.
Would every one who has been PMing me for comments or dealings PLEASE send me a PM with your email addy if you wish to continue communicating with me. The news about closing the site is devastating and will mess up most of our lives as far as Bulova discussions and information and the ability to PM each other. I for one will be happy to respond in kind with my addy to any one who desires it.
God bless us all.

I've had this one for awhile, I wanted to get it entered, so here it is, a 1950 or thereabouts Academy Award, White Gold Filled case with caseback also GF. Excuse the expansion bracelet. As received, it came with a cylinder crystal, which I don't think is correct. The movement is stamped '49' and it runs quite well after its full overhaul. The curtain dial is in ok condition. The movt is a 7AK, 21 jewel with Breguet overcoil. I haven't done anything yet to the case, except for a quick polish of the bezel. It could use some more tlc, and the hands, on close inspection, are quite corroded. I do have NOS replacements for them, so will attend to that at some point.
What is happening and why? Any explanations?
Updated photos of the restored watch on 7-28-2012. The bracelet was generously donated by Greg (Oldticker) Thanks again Greg.
I have here a very nice Bulova, L5 date code, but couldn't find it in the 1955 ads, I will be going through them again, this time more slowly. No serial number on the movt, sorry, wasn't able to get a pic. The movt is stamped L5 also. 10k RGP bezel and SS back. 16mm lugs, and a very very slightly rectangular cushion case with a crystal that is less than 2mm different length by width. This watch belongs to a customer who I have asked permission to post these pics, it belonged to her father and is a very sentimental piece. Any comments. thoughts or ideas as always appreciated and welcome.

1950 Elizabeth, Casemark A9, mvmnt. marked L0, 17 jewels unadjusted, BXW, 7AD.
Sold as not working, but it runs and keeps good time. came with generic 1950's ladies' box, could be original.
hello awhile ago i posted this watch...i put it off to the side while i was waiting for a suction opener to take off the back..anyway this watch does have the 10ak hack movement...it looks just like an a-11 bulova military except it doesn't have the military markings...i looked through the ad database and the only military style watch that bulova seem to have sold during the early to mid 40"s have the sub dial..i am talking about the round mililtary style watches, not the versions of other models with the blackhawk style dials...
Is this watch worth having a new glass put in... as it's a quartz is it regarded as a bit of a "new fangled" nasty?... thanks tony
