7th Edition Joseph Bulova School of Watchmaking Training Manual

Submitted by JP on May 12, 2013 - 10:26pm

To all of you who asked for a copy of the manual, it is now available under the information tab and sub tab of Catalogs Etc. for you to download. I am sorry to have to do it this way but so many of you had asked for it that with all of the time I spent on scanning it and all of the work from all of you who have sent me watches for repair or ordered lumed hands, it was necessary.

Thanks to every one for their support on this project and I hope you all enjoy the lessons you will be studying to become better at repairing Bulovas even if you have never cracked a case open before.

Bulova1962 Mens Accutron watch 18kt gold D46892

I have been carrying this Vintave Bulova 1962 for years. I don't remember how I got it, but have decided I want to sell it. So I took it to a local gold buyer who offered me $300 in one breath and then said $400 if I would get it running. Well I thought about it and decided, what am I doing! There must be some site on the web that knows about this kind of watch, so I first checked Ebay and low and behold... here is one for $1200! Now I am not saying mine is worth that, but I thought I would check more and found this site.

Haven't heard of this one

Ok, anybody ever heard of Bulova making a watch called a Midland? This one is apparently made by Bulova, according to the seller, and although the case is Keystone, and the trademark does not appear in Bulova trademarks searches, the movement is certainly one Bulova used in its 17''' pocket watches, with which I must confess a certain fascination.

Interesting, don't ya think?
