Dear Bulova Friends.
I plan too buy a couple of old Bulovas from late 20th to early 30th.
And i plan to send them with post .
Will the radium in the watches give any problem with customs.
Have a nice day.
Hey gents. I'm looking for a few sets of the gray modern hands to fit a 10AE or 10AX movement. You know the type for the Ambassador type of explosion dials from around 1940?
Also need the seconds hands to go along withim. Anyone got some?
Would any one have a or know where I could get a Date Indicator Drive Wheel for a 1972 Bulova 11AOCD movement or the movement its self for parts?
Gerard
Hi, I'm new to the boards and Bulova recommanded I ask for information about my watch here, so here is what I can tell you about it.
The face of the watch has Bulova and Self Winding on it?
The back has the following:
Bulova on the top of the back along with Stainless Stell back, Shock Resistant, Anti-Magnetic, water Proof, and at the bottom is the number I907227 with M6 underneath it, The band has 1/20 10k GF Top Caps USA written on it. I will also try to add pictures just incase they don't show in this post.
Hello , i found about a 1937 Minuteman ( i believe ) in working condition. I am no mechanic and dont trust myself to go inside . It winds up and opperates as it should but loses time as it operates .
I assume it needs cleaned inside or serviced .. Is this a common problem and fixable for something this dated ..
Thanks
Hello all,
I am a brand new member and have been interested in vintage Bulovas for some time now. I have an Accutron 214 from 1965 which I've had for many years now and it runs great, especially after a recent service.
I recently bought a beautiful 1952 Academy Award R watch and would like to get it serviced before wearing it on a semi-regular basis. I would like to get some recommendations on whom I could send this watch to for the needed service.
Thanks in advance,
Michael
Under the main "Search" dropdown menu, there's a search "MyBulova Models". This page lists watches in the database by their current model names. A nice way to organize information. It's also a nice way to see where we may have some ID's incomplete or incorrect.
Has anyone seen a 10BA movement with a center seconds hand? Is it rare? I've never seen one before and I was thinking about purchasing it, if it is something unusual. It's a 1945 movement.
Would anyone have a parts diagram or know where to find one 666 for easy auto 11UKACB. It came apart easy but I'm stuck on the push auto day/date set up.
Thank you
Gerard
