Bulova 'Medical Officer' crystal needed?
Does anyone have a pair of crystals that fit a 1944 Bulova 'Medical Officer' ? I have 2 of these in need of crystals.

Hi, guys.
I don't have a big problem with collecting less than perfect watches but I do seem to be accumulating more than a few where the only big issue is the poor quality cathedral hands. Many of them have hands like this where the color is missing like this:
Does anyone have a good source for replacements for these?
Thanks,
Tom S.
i have an immaculate 1969 orange dial Sky Star in need of a bezel. does anyone have one? i bought the watch from ebay about 4 years ago. it is in perfect condition - except it is missing it's bezel.
Stumbled on this Bulova/Caravelle case catalog for sale. Pricey at $99 but this seems like a great resource for someone on this forum. From the pictures looks like a great parts listing by case. I thougth I would put this out there if someone wants it. it is not mine just stumbled on it
I have a running 1943 Bulova Stop Watch with a 10AH movement but missing most of the chronograph parts. Looking for a donor watch and/or movement. Also need a crown and sweep second hand. Great case with wonderful engraving. See the watch movement pics below.
Hi, guys.
I feel like this is a probably dumb question but I can't find anything on it. There is plenty of informatin about replacing bands on watches with spring bars. But I'm a little bit at a loss as to how to do it with some of these vintage women's wataches that don't seem to use them.
For example, I have the watch attached which simply seems to have a bar that appears to be part of the watch.
Why is there a long string of Military Issue "10AK" watches all in a row showing up on the "New/Updated Watches" list? I've never seen that before?
Hi,
How is the automatic mainspring build up?
Is the Safety spring just one part (spring slightly smaller then the circumference of the barrel) that alows the mainspring to slip when overwound?
If so is the mainspring then just a normal mainspringspring with a normal (as in hand-wound) bridle?
If've read the Bulova self-winding watch manual but this isn't that clear to me.
Thanks in advance

I have been collecting Bulova watches for over ten years and have four Spaceviews . I was under the impression that only watches with a chapter ring were genuine but I note that ones with markings on the crystal are in the data base and Bulova produced crystals with markings.
I am in the UK and note that there are quite a few Spaceviews are appearing on the market without chapter rings and not cheap either. I am guessing these are conversions and individuals appear to be jumping on the bandwagon.
Hi,
Just found a list of a lot of Bulova mainspring sizes, see below.
