1919 Rubaiyat Mans' pocket watch
Yep, it's that time of Year when throngs gather early Morn at Gobbler's Knob, Punxsutawney in this great State of Pennsylvania to witness a time honored spectacle: Groundhog Day.
For those unaware the tradition of ripping the Groundhog, named Phil, from His cozy resting place to one aloft dates back to the 1800's and predicts the coming of Spring.
Can a broken off lug from my 1966 Bulova Commander be reattached?
From Geoff and Cookie
Yeah, ask yourself why a nice girl named Cookie wants to marry a dude named BAKER?
Here is a quick preview of some new ads I sent Admin....This was from a "Bow Tie" watch that I bought at a local estate auction.
No date on the Jeweler flier, but I would date it as 1969-70.
The watch below has been tentatively identified on another website as a ' Major ' . The movement is an 8AE, 17 jewels and has a date code for 1939. The case is 10k gold filled and numbered 9126038. The strap looks as if it might be an original. Would be very interested in the opinions of the experts on this site. thanks

I begin with thanks to Stephen Ollman for everything he's done for the worldwide Bulova community. This website is the premier location for all things Bulova and it's all made possible by his dedication to the brand, Thank You Stephen.
It takes time and money to keep myBulova open for business and Stephen spends a lot of his time on the site. The money we raise through our drives goes to the purchase of the advertising material we so desperately need to keep finding ID's for these wonderful old watches.
This particular Watch rolled through Our 2nd favorite website some time ago, most may have seen it, someone here may have bought it.
What appears to be an original Dial is hallmarked with both the 'SEA KING' and wrist alarm insignias with Dial characterists pointing toward a 'SEA KING' model.
In lieu of what is showing, to Me, the Watch raises a specific question:
Wrist Alarm - stand alone Model or function.

I recently began taking care of my 86yr old Grandmother, & while cleaning out some junk next to her furnace, I found a cream color cardboard box. I saw "Bulova", on the box, showed it to her, & she told me to take it. Inside the cardboard box is another beautiful plastic two toned box, & the 10k gold filled watch lays inside. It has a manual, as well as a small gold label. The original price tag of $95 is attached.
