Watch Description

Here is an unusual one in a 2 tone case that I have never seen before. I purchased it as part of a lot of dresser drawer watches with no bands. Front appears to be a brushed stainless insert; while sides, back side and ring around crystal are gold plate. Face is gold in color with gold markers. Movement appears to be all gold plated as well. Back is dated N5 and movement is dated N4. Case measures 46mm across not counting crown and crystal is 33.5mm. Band is a replacement - not Bulova. Is this a 70's number designated unnamed model?

Thanks, Jim. Well found. I looked at it again under magnification, and there is indeed an insert in the front present that is precisely fitted and rests under the crystal lock ring. I can't really tell if it's stainless or aluminum, but it's shiny. It's doubtful that there would be layered inserts, so I believe what is there is original. 3 possibilities are either the brown finish is gone, the insert was removed during a disassembly and replaced upside down, or perhaps this is a variant with a different colored insert.

I pretty sure I have seen this one elsewhere in this same configuration since I posted this example.
