Just a thought to share ... the ORANGE oceanographer snorkel was around the same time frame ... and it also housed a DAY and DATE movement ... and it also has ... SNORKEL (only) ... printed on the dial ......

As always with these I'm still a bit of a fence sitter.

We know that Bulova certainy had a 'Snorkel' model as at 1968, but the question is, did they continue this line, or relpace it with the Oceanographer series of which the 'Snorkel' was a variant?

I'd be tentative Oceanographer "Snorkel" variant.

Fantastic watch and now that Bulova have released a new modern version as part of their Archive collection, these are really becoming highy sort after watches.

1968 Snorkel model as indicated by the watches presentation box (not shown).

additional information ...

the bezel is friction mounted (no click) BI-DIRECTIONAL

the case ref# is marked 7095-1 it measures @ 42mm compared  to 41mm for case ref# 714 (used for snorkel/oceanographer snorkel)

hallmark mark is CB (Centrale Boites S.A.) SWISS

Lugs: 18mm

TRITIUM LUME has turned a rich MUSTARD YELLOW both on the handset and underneath the PIPS/POSTS (hour markers) on the dial, which generally happens to TRITIUM if stored in a place for an extended period of time where there has been next to no or minimal sunlight exposure ( ? ) which would also explain the state and condition it is in,  the case does show minimal wear .

Would the difference in the case designations, with the 7095 and the 7095-1 designate a different bezel, or perhaps a different case back to accommodate the different movement?

case ref 7095 for the Orange dialed snorkel uses a different movement and a black and white bezel

thank U everyone for the input and complements !!!  I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me in securing spare parts for my watch for the future ? .....  Bulova crystal ref# 7095AW ... ? ... asnd if anyone has some info as to what gasket ref# case 7095-1 would take ? i suppose it would be the same gasket the ORANGE OCEANOGRAPHER uses  ?
