I'm not an expert, this was my grandma's watch. According to the date chart it was bought in 1973 and it has a french day dial (SAM stands for Samedi = Saturday). Pretty weird, because I'm living in Italy and the watch has been bought here.

I suspect this may be a European model not produced for sale in the US. Face is marked "Swiss Made", case marked "Swiss" along with a serial number starting with "3 - ". Movement is also stamped "Swiss". Is there an import stamp (BXW) on the movement? That would indicate the Swiss movement was shipped to the US for assembly. If it isn't stamped, the watch was likely assembled in Switzerland for the European market. That would also explain the French day wheel.
If it's an "International" model, it is quite possibly all original as seen, and a European version of a US model.

So we have a number of 11AOACB examples in the database for both 17 and 23 jewelled movements, which is good to know that both correct to for case.

So how to process, International or model number? I think it's safe to rule out the Senator ID.
