ad Dated 1972 gives Us the 'LADY OF FASHION' "BQ" matching the subject but no Date window, the 'LADY OF FASHION' "CA" in the same ad shows the Watch Model was available as a Calender Model.

'LADY OF FASHION'

I would go 2 ticks Lady of Fashion since the subject watch appears to have the same case as the LoF BQ, and is a 17j auto.

Unknown from me for now. If it were voted in as a Lady Of Fashion, I'd still give two ticks.  Having said that, do others think I'm correct in voting Unknown if I'd give two ticks for LOF?  Any feedback on this question is welcome and requested.  I just want to try and get it right, and may be over-thinking something.

Admin, Geoff and Bobbee voted several days before the LOF ad was added to comments, but I bet they have seen this ad and are not changing their votes.

After looking at te new advert. I'd be happy with LOF tentative. The series had a calendar component.

Still unknown from me, no date function shown in the LOF ad, and this case shape was quite common in the 70's on both Mens and Ladies models.

Found the watch in the 1973 Line book BAWD0181 page 88 of 94.   From what I see the date code is N4 on the movement and N1 case back.  Based on this I believe this to be the following:

1971 Bulova Lady Automatic "C".  with possible movement swap.  (looks like a new name for the database)

1973 Lady Automatic C
