first appearing in the mid late 1960's the 'EXCELLENCE COLLECTION' is of no relation to the 'EXCELLENCY GROUP' and 'HIS EXCELLENCY' series of the latter 1940's and 1950's.

The 'Excellence Collection' is a standalone group.

Your point being?

The Excellence Collection was initially brought up by you as having relevance to this watch, as an argument against it having anything to do with the Excellency series, and it seems by bringing it up again, after it has been proved to have nothing to do with the Excellency, you are purposefully trying to cloud the issue.

The "Excellence Collection" contains many well known models, including Clippers, Ambassadors, la petite to name a few.

The subject watch has been seen with "EXCELLENCY" printed on the dial in other posts in this thread, thus giving another example.

Subject has the word "EXCELLENCY" in it's name.

It has 17 jewels.

Ergo, the Subject is from the EXCELLENCY range, has 17 jewels, and has a full name of Diamond Excellency.

whatever that means Bob, sure.

The similar piece with "Excellency" printed on its Dial as on the 1940's and 1950's 'HIS EXCELLENCY's illustrated prior in this thread has been shown to be a re-Dial.

How would someone know to put "Excellency on the dial, unless it was there already?

"Whatever that means"  is proving that you are trying to "muddy the waters", in your usual way.
