Lovely watch, looks like the original band as well.

I bought this watch off eBay on 10/10/2023 for my daughter's Bday coming up - I likely paid to much.  All the seller knew was she bought it from a high-end estate sale.  I plan to take it up to have it cleaned / polished and the back engraved: "WITH LOVE FROM FATHER".  I'll be asking the jeweler to open the back and take photos of the insides for me too.  I'll update here when I get that additional information from the insides.  It didn't come with its box but I bought a light blue with white lettering "La Petite 23 Jewels" box from a different eBay seller.

I am sure it isn't the correct box but I think my daughter will like it.  She is a big fan of "Queen's Gambit" and she loves when Beth's mom gives her a Bulova watch for her graduation present.  She just told me a few days ago, "that the kind of watch I want"!  She wishes, I provide.  Plus turning 20, a young lady needs a watch with some style ;-)

I'd love to be able to share any information I can find out about the watch with my daughter (she is like me and LOVEs old things).  I am guessing it was one of their cheaper models as it doesn't have any diamonds mounted.

@Kathy L. - that was so fast posting about the watch!

Clearly I overpaid by a LOT if someone (you?) is selling it at $29.95 - oh well.

Those prices are from the in-house Bulova catalog from 1964.

$29.95 was dealer cost (either yellow or white) with retail being $71.50. Figuring for inflation, the watch would cost $709 today (new)

Golden Goddess "H" is a good match; looks to be the original band. Should make a nice gift.

I just posted a advert I found on eBay - it looks to be the same watch - very cute and for a "birthday girl" too!

I wanted to post another photo showing more of the band but thought the latch would be better.  Thank you all for your posts :-)

Wait, those are '64 prices?  So gold it was 29.95 but in white it was 71.95?  I must not be reading that right..

Yep - you guys post fast - I didn't see most of those until after I posted.  I feel silly.  I picked the little watch up for $575 after some haggling, $628 to my door (be here tomorrow).  The seller calls it "mint" condition and from the photos it seem in rather nice condition.
