Watch Description

This watch is as closest to a NOS as I have had. No wear any where. If it was worn it was only on Sundays. Dial is mint and has tiny spikes like the bergeon hands gage and is off white. The hash marks are raised gilt, and the hands are dauphine pitched. The crystal is clean and no scratches. The crown is signed as are the case and movement. The watch keeps exceptional time and is a real looker on the wrist. It matches the advert for the 1963 Engineer but I am not up to speed on loading the ad to the listing.

The year- 1963- is listed in the Bulova model price lists.  I don't have easy access to the lists now, but I believe we will see there are several "different" vairants based on some attributes for Engineer....and in the first sections of the lists, gold color is often given along with variant designation.  I don't remember if the lists allow me to say theEngineer  G is one color while another variant is a different gold color, but I do remember many models in these lists suggest/demonstrate that gold color differences indicate a different variant designation.

...but if we don't have these spicifics indicating the gold color content, the G call gives more information than just calling it an Engineer.  We don't have conflicting ads stating otherwise for this case/dial.

Will this yellow gold colored example end up being the G if/when ads or documentation surface?  Maybe.  Maybe not.  There's a 50/50 chance it's the "G", so that works for me.  Maybe someone has printed out the Bulova model price lists and can check?  Mine are only digital, and on an external hard drive packed away for the moment. I soulda printed them when I first got them.  Old Ticker did- and now he doesn't have to worry about his battery running out or a hard drive crash to view them.  I shoulda followed your advise and done the same Greg.  :)

Two ticks tentative for Engineer G from me!
