Good Sunday afternoon,
I am seeking a complete balance for my Bulova that has a 9AT movement, or I could use the extra 9AT movement. I hope you can help me. Movement serial 433690

I appreciate the responses. I am surprised at the lack of Bulova spare parts for the 9AT. I have inquired with multiple sources and I am hearing the same answer, they are very hard to find. So perhaps there are compatible complete balances that might work. Or is it not that simple
My hairspring is damaged.

Brian, remember that you are talking about a movement made in the late 1920s. It's actual quite amazing that parts are still around at all. It's testament to how Bulova operated back in the 20s and just how reliable these movements were and still are when looked after.
I'm still searching for a 10AC movement after 10 years....one day....one day.
I understand that vintage watches present their unique challenges. That being said I have been a long time collector of some Gruens ( Quadron specifically) Hamiltons and Elgin’s, I usually don’t have too much issue finding parts from the same time period. I also understand that is is also based of original production numbers.
I have posted my request on several forums without luck, so it seems that the production numbers for the 9AT were low due to the lack of response. As a matter of fact one Bulova contact told me that parts for the 9AT are like gold.
I’ll continue to try and source parts. The lack of parts is a red flag to be cautious about vintage Bulovas due to their parts scarcity. I appreciate your insight
