My great Uncle gave me this watch as a keepsake to remember him by. It belonged to his wife. As far as I know that is the original band on the watch. The clasp was broken and I replaced it. (Not with the original type clasp.) I did not see any ads that had a watch with this type band but the watch itself looks very familiar to the Her Excellency "C". But I will leave that to the experts. I am just curious of the model. Thanks for any help in identifying my watch.

How lucky you are to have this watch. You've Id'd the watch well.I agree that it's from the 'Her Excellency' series say that it might be the 'J' variant with a replacement/customised band.
Your watch is similar to the 'C' variant, but that one did not have the engravings around the bezel. Our ads for the 'J' do not clearly show any engrvings, but that one does have an elaborate band, different from your band.
I'm going to vote no variant Her Excellency
Thank everyone for their expert evaluations. As I said it was my great aunt's whom I have never met. My great uncle is 96 and this is a most precious gift from him. You can just tell the way he looked at it that he loved his wife very much and was probably remembering when he purchased it for her. I am honored and blessed to be gifted with it.
I do have another question. The watch is in working condition and he said he had his son take it to a jeweler earlier to have it cleaned and also to see if the original clasp could be repaired. They couldn't repair the clasp but did clean it he said. My problem is the watch gains time and my question is can a jeweler adjust that or do I need a certified watch repair person do it? I live in a remote small town area with the nearest large city 1 1/2 hours away so I wondered about a jeweler. Thanks
