Bulova Accutron 214 movement, Black dial that says "BULOVA ACCUTRON" below the 12 o'clock mark, just above the 6 o'clock mark it has the tuning fork logo in a box, just below the 6 o'clock mark it says "T SWISS MADE T" on the dial, It has no serial number on the back just the date code N7.
Good find buddy.
I saw your posts regarding those dials on WTF, and some of the replies seemed a little strange.
Why would Bulova put the "T" on a dial and then only make the white printing luminous?
That makes no sense, lume is used on a dial to be able to see the time in the dark, thus the hands and hour markers or numbers are the only thing lumed.

Yes I saw, that's why I said good find. :-)
I was remarking on the WTF posts made over a week ago, where someone said maybe the writing was luminous. These were said before your great find of it being used in a spaceview.
That makes perfect sense, as the lume is on the original Spaceview hands and on the crystal internal markers.
Ya i tried to tell him that the white box was just that "white" but ya now it all makes sense with the illuminated hands and chapter ring marks of the hidden spaceview any dial the swiss chose to use would work and still be illuminated i just wonder if they had some left over dials and put them in other watches (not to likely) or someone had a leftover dial from converting a hidden spaceview into a reg spaceview and put the leftover dial into this watch (much more likely), To me with the flood of converted spaceviews out there i'd much rather have a hidden spaceview the way it came from the factory "Hidden" because the spaceview are cool with the fork and coils and such showing but i think the watches that still have their dials intact are #1 are much better looking (much classier looking) #2 much easier to see where the hands are and thus time what time it is (that's the main reason for wearing a watch) #3 much easier to see what time it is in low light with the much higher contrast the dial and hands give you #4 watches of any given type with the dials intact (especially the ones that were easy to convert to spaceviews) are much more rare than the spaceviews they were converted to, but that's just what i think because after all it's easy to take the dial out (for someone who know's what they are doing) but it's not so easy to put the right missing dial back in to make the watch the way it was when it left the factory especially if that dial is gone !
This should verify that the dial is factory but not for this watch possibly and that the "Box with the accutron fork" is a swiss thing and was on more than one style of swiss watch......
And i just bought watch "A" in the first pic, a awesome swiss hidden spaceview with a Black Dial.
