If anyone has one of those lug extenders they can part with please let me know, Thank you
Are we saying that the Gucci type screw together bars were used on any Corrigans originally? Or is that half round springbar retainer thing the correct piece? Either would look ok from above, it's the underside that would ID them.
I'm currently restoring a 1938 Corrigan, will get some pics when I get a chance. The movt needs some repairs besides a CTR. IF I get some spare time, I will make a technical drawing of the lug extenders, based on the photos here, as I do not have any on my watch. If anyone can make some accurate dimensional measurements, that would be extremely helpful, as well as the angle at which it dips from the bar next to the case itself. I am going to attempt a facsimile made from brass stock, and get it gold plated if the result is satisfactory. I will also attempt to make the spring bar retaining brackets. They can probably be cut from Bushing Wire.

Hey Rob.... you know with the holidays and how busy I've been at work I totally spaced sending you that original lug extender so you could mold it.
I know Tony's (Zappos) guy made a mold but I think we were left with him having trouble getting the holes correst. If you'll shoot me your addie again I'll search out my lugs in my stuff and shoot you the correct lug. Like I said it took me 3-4 years to find an original and I think I'm one of a handful that probably has them. I know Mike said he'd take a shot at them if there was enough interest.
Ok so I spoke to my jeweler friend he made a brass model had it casted made a few link for me
with a metal called tygold . A cheap solution to see how it works out. He just needs to polish out the links and I should have them within a week. I will post the results asap.

The Tygold will look like it belongs, if I'm correct in assuming it is an alloy that is made to resemble gold. I'm re-thinking my idea to make these out of brass, it might be a lot of extra work, especially if they are to be plated.
Zappatore, if your guy is making these in any kind of quantity, I'd like two also, and they don't have to be polished or in finished condition, just the casting. I'm still going to make the technical drawing, and do a test attempt at a pair, won't know unless I try.
Plains, Pm sent.

Ok let me get them and see what they look like, I waited a long time for them do when I get there I'm gonna take the cast and original model he made so I can get them casted elsewhere , he is to busy to do favors lately , the only issue I see is that there are few stripes beveled in the link. I hope they remain . I'll post results, and I certainly didn't forget you plains!
They came out great!!! It's weird, but I'm not seeing Corrigan as a model name choice in the "add a watch" dropdown menu list? I see a "Doug Corrigan". Did we change the name based on the few ads calling this model a "Doug Corrigan", and older names entered pre-drop down remain?
EDIT: First digit of case SN suggests 1938
