Sorry this has taken me so long to post it up after I got it but as most of you know I've been pretty busy the last few months. Well.. this is the first one I've gotten... I believe this is NOS.The Jefferson. We don't have an advert for this yet other than a very horrible catalog ad someplace you can barely make out it looks something like "Jefferson". Well low and behold inside the case was the original hang tag! This watch is in pristine mint condition. I haven't had one like it and certainly haven't seen one from the 1950's in this good a shape except for a couple that Oldticker had found in parts and was fixed up by Mike. I'm adding a few more pics just because I think this will be the primere go-to for this model in the future

I never said they were ordered to stop making the 'ACADEMY AWARD' series, Bulova agreed to stop their advertising tactics which without doubt brought bad blood between the 2 parties.
Faced with the termination of a contract in 1954, which prior to Bulova may have deemed renewable, could account for these Models which display all of the charcteristics of an 'ACADEMY AWARD' series Watch, all the way to the display box in which they were sold.
The similarities are undeniable.

Yeah just a light box and an my fine FugiFilm camera. Model: FinePix S700, 7.1 Megapixel.
I have it set on Auto. When the camera turns on I put it on Super Macro. If you look at the rest of the watches I've posted on here I'd say 99.9% of them were done with this camera and that setting. Then I use Adobe Photoshop CS3 to crop, rotate, and resize.
