Curved case measures 38mm lug to lug using Calipers. Frost White finished dial with raised Gilt Arabic numerals and Bulova logo, Gilt modern hands and matching modern seconds hand follow printed Black tracks. Original glass, Swiss movement. Watch is original and as found.
Wayne,
Not sure where to go with that one, double checked the movement, info given is correct, still retains the original perimeter 'spacer' and highly doubt it's been swapped, in fact I'd bet on it. Could this be a 1930 as opposed to a 1940? its Gold filled back (note: 0 wear through) is pointing more towards the 30's over 40's. - Posted a couple of quick new pictures and does the guide offer a value?

In reply to Mark, the price guide lists by Bob Bruno
So, the price guide indicates the first year of production for a given model and their estimated value, got it.
This one's all original and as found, the only work I have done to date is clean the case which is near mint, dial, hands and glass all excellent+ and will be left so. The original twist flex band came with also, it was removed in a hurry and without thought until William mentioned its notoriety in a earlier post - watch is only 12mm beteween the lugs, still have the band. The movement is very clean and appears untouched, the balance hangs freely but the stem is froze tight, original crown is gone as shown. Should be an easy fix.
