I'm thinking of buying this watch but I am wondering if these are the correct hands for a 26 Lone Eagle

The minute hand is perfect. I have never seen or have a picture of a lone eagle with a curved shaft on the hour hand. Most of the ads lead you to belive that the hour hands are cathedral. But I have pictures of LEs with the plain teardrop & straight shaft. If the price is right, I would jump on that bugger with glee and worry about the hour hand later.
Good Luck

This is indeed a 1927 original 5000 Lone Eagle --- minus the hour hand and crown ---
Its listed here in my list:
Thanks Stephen, Wayne and Mark
I really shouldn't be buying this so close to Christmas, but I have been wanting a watch from the 20's and I have been wanting a Lone Eagle or a Conqueror. Sooooooooo will SOMEBODY PLEASE TALK ME OUT OF THIS !!!! :-) The seller is asking $600.00 so if you guys say that's too much I won't pull the trigger.

For an original 5000 LE I'd say go for it, but only if you can afford it.
Remeber RubyLane is selling theirs for a cheap $4999 :-)
