Fresh out the timemachines shop with a good cleaning and some new parts is my 1970 Bulova Oceanographer aka Snorkel aka 666ft.
I've been wearing it since I took it out of the shipping box and am really grooving on it gents.
What are you wearing as your daily wear watch lately?

If its 20mm across....I can have my first born wrapped and shipped within the day!!!
My Chrono "C" came with a cheap leather band that has since disintergrated and I have been looking for a mesh band to match the original for ages.
The one above looks very similar to the Advert.

I'm wearing a non-Bulova as well. This sports a Valjoux 23, same movement as the 1940's Bulova chronograph.

Since my Parker shares a movement lineage with the Bulova 13AK shouldn't we just catagorize it as a Frankinbully and put it in the database?

This Bulova Alarm Clock will do the job work for you Bob. just get another lug like the one on top, mount it to the bottom. And for a band use one of your wide `alligator belts. It'll also keep you awake. Not too shabby in the looks department either!
I bought one of those 42mm Accutron Excusions WW and it was so heavy it made me walk lop-sided LOL

Are you speaking of the clock per chance? No, not white gold. I have the stainless steel version as my personal bedroom clock. Since I retired there is no need for bells & whistles, so the clock acts like it is retired too, it just sits there on the night table, hoping I don't wind her! However, she gets wound up about once-a-month, just like me. LOL

OK, So I started the confessions but I didn't mean to. I don't really have 1 single watch that I wear daily, though the Hamilton does get the most wrist time. I also like my Hamilron Pacer and the following 4 bullies are also on my wrist a fair bit.
1st is the 1960 American Eagle, A 1951 Photo Case, 1950 Treasure (unconfirmed) and my 1960 Presdent.

Thanks, shooter - I'm particularly having a hard time identifying that first one with the linen dial. It's a 1950 (L0) and I couldn't find it in the ads. The Academy Award has a dial like that, but very differrent case. I would consider the possibility that the movement & dial were put into my case, but I have one identical to mine that is not working.
The 2nd one is a 1951 (L1) Miss America, only it's advertised at 17 jewel and mine is 21 jewel.
The 3rd one is 1942 (T date code) and I found it in a 1943 ad as a Marian.
David and I will post each of these individually at a later date so they can be added to the database. :)

Hey Camille! Welcome!! Nice to have another ladies perspective here.
As for your 1st watch. Bulova has about 10 different women's Academy Award watches for that couple of years there were created. Check out the database and you'll see several different models of ladies AA. So it very well could be and probably is a ladies Academy Award.
