This is not my watch. I was unable to upload the photos to the forum, so I entered it here. It is similar to the Lone Eagle III, but slightly different. What do you think? Is it a variation of the LE III or a different model all together? Thanks!

After a really close look, I think what we have mistaken as a hinged lug is merely the first link of the band mounted outside of the hooded lug with longer pins so I'm still inclined to say it's an Ambassador of one version or another. Please take some time to compare the cases of mine and yours. I think Plains has a couple of these as well, not exactly the same, but almost identicle cases. I suspect there were a few different versions.

On the comparison I posted, the gold band that you can see is attached with a spring pin and the two bars comping down from the hood are attached to each other in a fixed position. Looks like by a pressed in place pin and they move together. Definitely as in a hinged lug.

After enlarging a picture of the front of the case, there is evidence of a sloppy solder job in an attempt to attach the bottom bezels of an ambassador case. I suspect somebody did a custom one-of-a-kind WoolyBully on this watch.
I think that Fifth has a watch model like this with XI bezel pattern that we think is a transition or prototype of the Lone Eagle III, but Bulova decided to go with the diamond dot pattern instead.
