Won on eBay as "runs then stops", not quite sure how - seeing as the barrel wheel screw was sheared, as was the stem, so no way could it actually have be wound by Honest Joe. Oh well, it runs now!
I put in a replacement barrel complete, a new stem&crown and a new size 224 crystal. The pallet was a bit sloppy, so replaced that too. Movement is a 10BAC (AS 1200 ebauche) with indirect seconds.

Hey Gents this is really awesome!
I got this ad from a 1940-41 Sears Catalog recently uncovered... sorry the quality doesn't get any better than this.
Either Sears sent out this catalog with 1 error to thousands and thousands of people, or the Lone Eagle A... was produced in 1940-41!!
Remember when I picked up that unknown mens and two other women's watches in that 3 watch lot for $10.00?
Well... here are the before and after pics! I'd like to that Mike of Timemachines for this work helping me out. What do you gents think? Oh and did we ever find a name for this watch?
While searching for a crystal for one of my watches in a 1952 BB supplement I found one that matches, when I looked up the watch name I about fell out of my chair when I learned they called it "Peter Pan"
While I have yet to find a New crystal that matches it in my personal crystal collection I am still searching.
Crystal size is 23.60mm x 21.60mm and it is curved both ways.
Hi Guy's
I thought I would share one of my clocks with you. It is a cool old Bulova clock from maybe the 40's?
It is mounted on the front of my house. This is the only pic I could get as there is two foot of snow in my way to get a better pic of it.
I collect old neon advertizing clocks and I have 8 of them in my home that are all clock or watch advertizements. All are old except one, that I made and it is a Bulova advertizement too.

I have never seen this unique beauty until this auction, seller drkrup. Pretty nifty watch, has an internal rotating bezel and hi-grade movement. The auction Feb 8, 2011 closed at $776.83. ebay item Number 300520921081. Sniper won it!
Hi
I picked up this American Clipper, which members verified for me, for $16. Added a crystal and it runs fine. I want to put a new watch strap on it. The lugs measure 13mm which puts it in the ladies watch category. I would appreciate some advice on the type of strap that would fit and look good.
Thanks
Tony
