This is a fantastically 70s watch. The hands are amazing. I got this with the quickset not functioning properly and in need of a good cleaning and new crystal. I love when the original finish is still visible on these kind of watches and they aren't just polished to death. ***EDIT BY PLAINSMEN***

The 1973 Linebook BAWD0180 page 12 has two options depending upon the dial market colors. Blue and Black. This one does appear to be Blue. It appears that in 1973 the dial changed to silver with arabic numbers as the handwritten notes on the variant A line book listing and later linebooks show it as Silver with Arabic numbers. So 1973 was a traditional year for this model.
This looks to be Blue. 1973 Bulova Jet Star "B"
