Hello, please find attached the pictures of my Bulova watch. I have not been able to identify my models from those being presented at this site. A note on the date 1969: In order to fill out the form I had to specify a manufacture year. I have no idea in which year my watch has been manufactured, which is why I typed in "1969" just to be able to save the watch and upload the pictures. I hope that you can help me to find out the correct manfuacture year. On the dial following information can be found: "Bulova = Automatic = 23 Jewels = T Swiss T" (reference to tritium?) The outer backcase has the following number stamped on it: 1-773595| - The crown has a "Bulova" relief. As to the watch´s background: I bought it from a flea market in Germany in 1995. The watch has not been opened ever since, but it still works immediately and with high accuracy. Since I do not have the right tools and there is no watchmaker where I live, I unfortunately can´t show you any pictures from the movement and the inside backcase. This is really all the information that I can give you. I am not interested in selling the watch. I am looking forward to every bit of information that you could share with me. It could potentially be a 1970s watch. If possible have the back removed and see what the date code is stamped on the movement.
#371101....model number. (#371104 is a Bulova Golden Clipper that is identical but with a different coloured dial)

I did not find a match in any other ad, but the ad posted above shows a very close match, I think the 370101 is the stainless version of that pictured yellow 371101 with the matching blue dial and red markers and calendar only. Interesting use of the tuning fork symbol above the Bulova, as these are not accutron models.

That aspect of the combination of the Bulova and Accutron logo has always intrigued me. Perhaps a branding cutover stage Bulova were going for, before moving to only use the tuning fork and Accutron, dropping the Bulova branding, but still having that association.
I have a mens metal bracelet with both Bulova and the tuning fork on the clasp......I figured it was a knock-off band, but maybe not.
I agree with the 370101 ID as it is stainless. What I've never been able to resolve is why Bulova went with six digit model numbers instead of five. I've always suspected that Bulova did things a little differently in the European and Pacific Rim markets. We regularly see this case back although, other than this series of ads we don't have much documentation on them.
