Watch Description

I have not seen a photo like this watch. Case back not opened. Gold patterned face that catches the light. Black fils style hands. Quite plain and classic gold bezel SS case. Black leather strap with 14 ct gold buckle. Manual wind up. All original with blue octagonal box lined with gold material. This was my first watch given to me by my parents as new bought from a local jewellers shop in UK and was my everyday watch for about 15 years until quartz watches became popular. It has sat in its box unloved for over 20 years. It does work but obviously needs a good servicing and clean before winding fully. Can a member recommend a watch-smith in UK to carry out service?

Possibly an International model based on this  1966-1967 Line Book BAWD0164 Page 7 of 66.  No name just a model number.

Let's go with the model number now that we have the facility to add one. I'll update.

Thanks JimDom5822 (I missed your April 2020 comment) and admin. It’s does look like the photo and also the yellow version of watch recently submitted by Davep. https://mybulova.com/watches/1965-international-12064. Case serial numbers are similar.

just an update, I did have it serviced a few years back, they wanted to put a new strap on which I said no too but I was annoyed to find a replacement unmarked winder added. It did have the “Bulova” branded as with Davep watch.

Where is the 1966-1967 line book referred to?

Currently the Linebooks are not published on the site yet and are currently for use by the panel.

I was going to update description but unable to. Since service I have kept watch going most of the time. It keeps perfect time. Bulova describes the mainspring as lasting 256 years or 48 watch straps! Well I’ve got an extra 50 years out of my watch strap!
