I agree 1000% William - the Watch is either the 'A' or 'B' variant and not 'AB' as listed.

The 2nd ad for 1959 in the data base has a match as the "Princeton"

Princeton it is until we figure out what "A" or "B" means.

I do have a theory on the "A" & "B", one is yellow gold and one is white gold like the one shown on the first page of comments.

"A" = White/Silver 2 tone dial & Gold case

"B" = Black Dial & White Gold case?

The Black dial has a L8 21J 10BP movement and a L9 stamped case.

Makes sense Greg but it's a guess until an ad discloses which is which, I'd vote for the Black Dial to be 'B'...but it's a guess.

The 1961 Bulova Model price lists includes the following Princeton variants.  The lists are not complete, but still are a good gage of what was available at time of list publication.

I bet there are some patterns in the unique Bulova model numbers.  e.g. There may be a pattern with last digit in model number being associated with attributes like case gold color.  I'm thinking they didn't randomly assign these model numbers, but w/ Bulova .....it wouldn't surprise me.

I have a "Princeton" in white gold, marked M0 on caseback and L9 on movement. The Movement in mine is a 10BC, 21J. The dial is black as in RGB's watch. Trying to figure out how to add pictures to this comment.

If you want to add your watch to the database, that would be great.  Then we would have another white gold/black dial example.  See: add your antique or vintage Bulova watch
I thought we had and FAQ on how to add pictures, but I can't find it now....  The add a watch page has some instructions.  Hopefully someone will remember where the help/tutorial/instructions page for adding pictures is located.
