Watch Description

This one has been in my collection for a few years and has always mystified me. Is it a beau Brummell or a 23? It came to me in the 23 box as seen and is literally spotless. Kreisler gold filled band appears to be original to the watch. 6 diamonds on a sunburst dial.. Case and movement dated L6. By all appearances, it's a "23" with a diamond dial, and I have no reservations that this is anything but an unmolested original. I can't say whether box is factory original or if it was dropped in by a jeweler at time of sale. Runs and keeps perfect time.

I'm still digging and came up with this one with 6 diamonds on a sunburst face ID'ed as a BB based on 1955 price lists. Makes no difference to me what it is eventually ID'ed as, just thought the price lists in this thread from 2014 (entries by William Smith) may help make some sense, but might make it worse....

I'm on the fence but tentative Bulova Beau Brummel...just a gut thing.
