That's like comparing a 1927 Lone Eagle cut corner crystal with a 1929 tonneau Lone Eagle crystal.

We know the name existed in 1954 by the November price guide, that crystal packet has no bearing on this ID Will.

It possibly has bearing on the 1959 model posted by Shawn, but as we know just because a crystal packet with a name has been found that has dimensions matching a watch, does not mean that watch is definitely that model. There have been too many adverts found that have been contrary to  ID's by crystal records alone since the early days.

I'm just saying...  It the crystal pack from this period did fit the Ivanhoe/siglo 21, I betcha someone would claim it is confirming data. I feel it should be noted, even if ignored, that in this instance, it does not.

The cyrstal package is the only data used in Shawn's ID, albiet it's a tentative ID, as it shoud be. As such, it has some bearing on an ID of a period-close "Century 21"  model.   The price list shows only one "21st Century" model.  We have a 1958 Ivanhoe in the watch database.  Shawn's watch is from 1959.

Its useful to me to at least note this stuff.  What we do with it is up to us.

EDIT:  Correction- Bobbee found at least three "21st Century" models in the price lists, so my statement above is incorrect.

Fall 1961 price guide snippet. In this same guide are two 'Ivanhoe' models.

 Three different 21st. Century models.

I'm good with a new tentative ID of "21st Century" for this (and other) Ivanhoe in the database.
