Watch Description

I left most of the description blank as I'm not competent to accurately determine a correct conclusion.

Additionally, I have not removed the back. This piece is very small and will require thought and planning on my part prior to doing so.

Watch is set to 12 o'clock.  Movement is tight  and will require servicing prior to attempting to wind.

Original band is the expansion type.

On one of the pages inside the little gold booklet which as attached to the watch it states "Tiniest 21 jewel watch ever created in America."

What information is written on the tag associated with the watch and box?

Also just confirming the back case is stamped L3?

Looks like is the Dolly Madison 'H'

Another Bulova Dolly Madison 'H' advert here.

It is interesting that the booklet shows a picture of an entirely different movt (21 jewel version of the 8AE) than what is in the Dolly Madison 'H'. (5AD) I'm guessing the booklet is an overview of the new line.

Regardless, I agree with Dolly Madison 'H'.

Spocketmaster, any chance of confirming the jewel count of your watch?

I missed the fact that you had it listed as a 21 jewel watch.

The tag says (and in this order, spaces inserted as printed)....

Side 1...

5125

Dolly Madison -H-

21J

OPS - SR 4-  CPR 7

------------------------------- (perforation divides front of tag- My words)

BULOVA

5125

Dolly Madison -H-

21J (next to this is $71.50)

Side 2...(written by hand in blue ink)

Case # 680911

5-29-53

65E1N90 (barely legible..also might be a little asterics after the 6 but at the top left of the 6...N might be 11...not sure)

Also, I verified the movement as 5AD 21J.

Additionally, she's ticking now. Yay!!! I Just needed a little help is all.

Sorry, I forgot to rspond that the Case back is stamped L3. The case back serial number also matches the tag.
