Because the case serial # is assigned individually to each watch, not as a model identification #.

This is not the model number but the watches unique case 'serial number'. You won't find this number anywhere....well except here now

Is there a picture or photo of Adeline besides the 1946 Advertisements? I still have doubts plus are all the watches 14k solid gold? I don't think so....

Description of Adeline in period ad lists it as 14K solid gold. The majority of models of the period were gold filled or gold plate per period ads and case markings.
