I stand corrected, I missed the duplicate post connection. It certainly appears to be an "I" not a 1, as depicted in the duplicate post. Not a 1942. Pending owner verification of date code on movement, I'm back on the fence.  Potential non-conforming  as you pointed out; or a dated Jane Addams based on how close movement and case are noting movement swap; OR we go by date code on movement and discount S/N.  Good catch and good call.

If it is a 7 year gap, I still say it's a Jane Addams with a note for a replacement movt.
