something that looks like "7AP" Not sure of date code is that the mark before the model number, if so maybe a square?

I think you have missed the first number in the case serial number befroe the '3'. Could it be a '6' ?

Sort'a looks like this one: Bulova 1938 Minute Man | myBulova.com

I downloaded the case back image and rotated it and the first digit in the serial number looks like a "0" or a "9" to me. If so, it's either a 1939 or a 1940 model.

There are dial variations on many watches, especially the '7' in the 1930s models.

Your watch alooks to be a Bulova Minute Man "E". Movement is 1936, but the case by serial number starting with a '0' suggests 1940.

Bulova Minute Man E looks to be a good match.   If we are not sure of the leading serial number I will default to 1939 or 1940 based on the updated photos of the serial number.

I've update the entry to 1940 and fixed the case serial number to start with a '0'.

The movement has an "omega" symbol for the date code of 1940. It's hard to see, so I highlighted it inside the yellow square.
