I have a heart shaped ladies bulova watch. It has a small empty square on the inside so that seems to be either 1927 or 1936? It is swiss, and the case number is 6526116 or 6526776. Also on the case it says 'Bulova Quality' It says "Bulova Watch" on the inside with a 6AH inside a square. Also says 'adjusted' and '17 seventeen jewels' on the inside. I believe it was originally purchased in Canada or it could have been brought to Canada from France. If anyone has any information on this watch it would be appreciated!!!
So this is a fairly old record. Looks like the Peg-O'-My-Heart, but the year is entered incorrectly IMO. Style, square date symbol, case SN and the 1947 ad suggest a 1946 date too.
One tick unconfirmed from me.
We do have the ability to update the record to the correct date if the original owner isn't around any longer. I've PM'ed in the past w/ no reply, but will PM again. IMO its OK and arguably the "right" thing to update the root record with the "facts at present" verses leave "incorrect" and give zero or one tick. It's simply a data QA/QC thing....
hello,
i believe it comes from canada, because the box says inside, canada famous timepiece, toronto,
plus a family friend gave it to me from a relative who lived in canada, who passed away several years earlier, if not the watch then certainly the jewellers box.
still it is very beautiful, and runs well, but my favourite will always be my uncles Accutron spaceview from 1963 yellow dot dial (all original) in near mint condition, i love tuning fork movements.
In reply to hello, i believe it comes by Nemesis
