Will, I've moved this watch over to your account.

Any other thoughts gents before we put this one onto the confirmed 'Unknown' category?

Unknown - case is not a Conrad match

Bertram lacks the engraving on the top and bottom edges of the bezel, and no mention of enamelling. Very close, though.

Bertram has  two-tone case, Conrad is the single-colour version.

I was wondering if the Bertram ad used two-tone to discribe the enameling...but I think they woulda said enameling....  and it's hard to tell from the ad if there's a small horizontal row of engraving next to the crystal..I don't think there is...

It shows the side engraving quite clearly, so if it had engraving on the top we should see it as it is not much thinner than that on the side on the watch.

The Oakley next to the Bertram has enamelling and the ad tells us, so one would think it would say so for the Bertram if it was enamelled.

the vertical engravings I can see pretty well.  It's the top/bottom I'm also not seeing.
