Inside case back: Bulova Quality - AAA - Pat. Jan. 11, 1927 - Sold in 2010 - {DB updated 2012-02-10 from Sky King to Frandenbully to reflect incorrect jewel count and dial inconsistencies w/ ads. 1932 ad of Sky King w/ minute track toneau in six sided bezel not applicable in 1930}
In reply to Will I would still rate this by mybulova_admin
I agree on this one. A 3 star Sky King but a 1 star Frankenbully. Change it back.

Thanks folks The "two star" frankenbully question was addressing how the system would treat/display the star rating when the model name was changed. One wouldn't rate frannkies, but the stars did remain w/ record after change. I wasn't necessarily playing devils advocate w/ this change of id. It is/was a pretty stupid change, however I felt it was following the protocol, if not the intent of the protocol. I'll change back to Sky King
So subject watch has a 15 jewel 1930 movement, while all Sky King Ads show 17 jewel. The toneau-shaped inside minute track issue, and the dial looks like a redial. At least this case has teh "fish" pattern which matches the ads to date. Still two stars from me as more is revealed.
EDIT: New 1931 ad for Skyking showing inner tonneau minute track in six-sided bezel opening.
