Hi all I would like help in trying to identify this ladies watch. I believe it to be a 1929 model. I have searched the db but can't find a match. I bought the watch for the sapphire crown it had to fit on to another watch. the back of the hinged case is worn through to the base metal and one of the edges by the engraving is also though. It has a 6AF 15 jewel movement and has the omega mark and the serial number 197000. the movement is not working , but the balance seems free. The case is marked on the inside with the words Bulova Quality Pat June 10 1924 and has the number 9292425 .

Wow George. You got a really nice parts watch. Maybe you'll fix up and keep as is, or pass on as it is. At least we have it in the database as is :) Thanks for entering it.
I love these more affordable old ladies watches, and the ads for these tend to be in the newspapers vs the expensive magazine publications of the time. It was expensive to run an ad in Sat Evening Post, and the more expensive models tend to be shown in those ads. It was also expensive for Joe Citizen to purchase a subscription of Sat Evening Post (for example) but almost anyone could afford to buy a local newspaper, so IMO the more affordable watches were advertised in these cheaper newspapers- often with target audience being the average Joe or Josephine.
hi George, I would fix her up (or sell to me LOL) since I have never seen this particular model. Sometimes the "unknowns" are more interesting than the "knowns" because they are true discoveries! It is good to have in our database since it gives us a complete picture of all models that were available, whether advertised or not!
