I am not really sure that I am correct, but I believe this is a 1951 Berkshire. I would like any information anyone can give me on this watch and its' approximate value. I do have the original case with it.

Well if you look a the back of the watch it should say Bulova L0, L1, L2 etc....
LO = 1950
L1 = 1951
L2 = 1952
etc... the serial number on the back if there is one... mean's really nothing... or if it ever did the meaning has been lost over time.
If you pop off the back cover you'll see the movement. Should tell you how many jewels... and what movement model.
You have the Man's version of the watch as it's got a seconds dial. There is a woman's version of this watch on a much smaller scale. If you go under SEARCH -> myBulova watches and look for Burkshire you'll see some lively discussions about this watch.
It look is several months of scouring the net and finally someone at the Bulova company was able to track down records for this watch after an inquiry from our illustrius member Bob Bruno.
