I was excited to pick this one up knowing how much I love the Duchess I have. After wearing it today I am happy I decided to get it. It really sparkles and is so pretty on the wrist.
It has a 14K solid white gold case with 10 diamonds, 1 larger and 4 accents on each end. It has a serial # on the inside of the case. I am not sure where the middle 7 is suppose to be. It has a working 5AB 17 jewel movement date stamped 46. The dial is missing the track line so I am guessing it was cleaned off or refinished at some point. The crystal looks like it is probably the original and in nice shape. I think the model is Susan and picked up a 1946 ad to go with it.
I agree with 1946 Susan,
Great looking watch and the dial may be original without the minute track. If you compare the watch and the ad you can see that the numbers on your watch are much closer to the bezel. This may have been done on purpose to make it easier to see.
