Never seen this one before. Rose gold with a copper face. Face, movement and case marked Bulova. It appears the first number of the serial number (2) is hand stamped.
I don't have possession of this watch, it was an online auction I missed out on. The seller was quite gracious and allowed me permission to use his images to document the watch.

A lot of my women customers buy the vintage men's watches because they are not that big, and are actually quite elegant. My sister wears the 1957 Ambassador 'G' Auto I gave her for Xmas a few years ago. She loves it and it looks great.

Jim, the date was based on the case serial which normally trumps the movement (which could be a replacement).
It's still a little grey and the watch could very well have been assembled and sold to market in 1943, but to try and keep things standard we use the case date.
