Watch Description

I recently got this watch and I'm trying to figure out whatever I can about it like the year is it, jewels, the model it is and such like that can anyone help please The face says Bulova and it is wind set and wind up mechanical. It says "T SWISS T" on the bottom of the face. The hands illuminate in the dark and has the date display. It runs very good and strong. The back casing says BULOVA stainless steel case shock resistant waterproof anti-magnetic 36938 M68. The inside case says 2519. The movement says 11BLCD, 17 jewels, unadjusted swiss MD, BZW. The band says Speidel on every link. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

'NON CONFORMING'

if the Movement is stamped M8 then We have a whole different ballgame.

Ok I went and has the back open again AND IT DOES IN FACT SAY "M8" ON THE BACK underneath where it says "unadjusted swiss" So now knowing this Fifth Avenue Rest what all does that mean???

It means the ID is back in play, we'll continue. If the movement had been dated 1960 (MO) and the case 6-8 years later we would suspect that it had been a watch assembled using 'spare' parts and would have assigned a 'Non-Conforming' ID , which is something we came up with to signify a watch that is impossible to nail down in terms of year of manufacture. Not knowing the correct year of manufacture means we can figure out the name.

I think this is a 1968 watch and I think the name is "Date King" - that's my vote.

Yea, You really love the watch so much and wanted to ID and wear it. So that's why your trying to sell it on Ebay.

( link to active ebay listing removed )

Need I say more other than that you've used us for your own design, shame on you and don't expect any help in the future.

This isn't the first and won't be the last that ends up on eBay after it is ID'd, some people are truly interested in what they have, most are more interested in the final value by being able to have a name for the watch.

The least the OP could have done is give us some credit....
