requesting information on this watch. Found wrapped in tissue in Grandma's jewerly box. No band, stem pulls out to set time. Won't wind, does'nt run. Anyone in Kansas City, Missouri or near here repair Bulova's? If its not cost prohibitive i would like to repair, get an appropriate band and wear it. I would consider selling as well. Its real neat
10K GOLD FILLED BULOVA

1943 President assuming that it has the 21 jewel 7AP movement.
The first digit of the case serial # on the case back indicates 1943 in this case.

Ditto on the President model. DarHin's comments let you know what jewel count/movement you should see if the movement is original to the watch. The movement will likely have a date code symbol, indicating the date of movement production. See http://www.mybulova.com/bulova-date-codes for the various symbols.

Hopefully one of the sites members can assist you in getting your watch services/repaired back to working condition.
President model for sure.
Jan, any chance you can pop the watch into a jeweler to have the back popped off and for them to note the movement details? That will help narrow dwon the age and year of manufacture.
