Hi, what an interesting site ! I came here looking for details of a watch that I have, that I was told was 1958 when I bought it, but looking through here i can't help feel it is much later than that and maybe a variation of the watch you are all discussing in this thread. Your watch in this photo is definitely from the mid 1960's.

The texturing is very typical of the 60s and I don't believe that Bulova came out with the 30 jewel movements prior to about 1965.

The back case cover should have a "M" number which designates the year manufactured.

I had not seen the Dec 1969 "Time Center" ad until Ken posted in another thread under consideration.
Based on dates of "AQ" ads, I'm still good with "AQ" for subject watch.

I don't know if the addition of the calendar band turns a Commander into the Time Center; all the models in that ad have the calendar band.
