My father in law was presented with a Bulova Watch when he retired from the Post Office in 1977. He died in 1985 and the watch was inherited by my wife. On the face are the following:- BULOVA LONGCHAMP - On the back of the case :- 3 807826 N4 - On the expanding strap:- USA Speidel and a crest . A watchmaker opened the case and inside is:- On the case - 9K 0,375 BULOVA 7628 SWISS (there are also English hall marks) On the movement - Seventeen 17 Jewels BULOVA WATCH CO N4 11ANC SWISS. The watch has not been worn and is vitually unmarked with no scratches. When wound it keeps good time. I would be grateful for any information.

Hi,
Thanks for your assistance.
We believe it to be a dress watch which would be unsuitable for everyday use.
It would be a shame to damage it by using it regularly and as we have no children to hand it down to we wondered if there was a market for such watches and if so have you any idea of the value.
Regards
Paul
Value is between $5.00 and $1,000.00
