Watch Description

I don't have a lot of information on this watch. It was left to me by my father. After some research i know it's a 1973 bulova with what appears to be gold placer nuggets and some stones on the face and the band. Just looking for any additional information about the model, movement, jewels, etc.

This is a wonderful keepsake from your father. I wonder if he worked the Alaska pipeline in the 1970's. Many who did came back with highly embellished watches like yours. I call the bracelet ends "tips'. They're also found in the Southwest US decorated with turquoise on silver.

My guess is that this watch started it's life as a 1973 Bulova Beau Brummell BD like mine, in fact the difference in the serial numbers is only 120. Can you confirm that the back of the back is also yellow gold please? If it's white gold it will be variant BF.

It appears to be yellow gold...it has the rolled gold plated markings "10kt R.G.P" on it. I appreciate all the info! I'm not sure if he worked the pipeline or not...he would have been in his 20's during that time, and he went into the Navy, so maybe his father did. I'll dig a bit deeper.

Nice customized watch. Agree with it being a modified Beau Brummell "BD"

1973  Beau Brummell "BD" is a good match.   Noting Jeweler modified.  Awesome look and well executed.

I'm absolutely lovingthis watch. So much bling!

I love the twt-tone dial effect which matching accents on the bracelet.
