I would like to share pictures of this beautiful Bulova 30 Automatic that i picked up on ebay in 2014. Keeps very good time. I was astonished at how well it cleaned up and how beautiful it looks, have not seen another one like it. It is my go to dress watch and a keeper for sure. I have since replaced the generic strap with a nice vintage black lizard Hirsch strap that looks the part. The first two pics are the watch after I cleaned it up, the last two are from the ebay ad when I purchased it. The case back is on so tight that I cannot remove it to have a peek inside a the movement. One last detail to note is that the hour and minute hands are luminous and there are lume dots applied on the dial.

Hello seabass22, welcome to myBulova. You have a nice watch, it cleaned up very well. We have quite a few adverts for 1972 but none of them show this model, We've identified some watches from the early 1960's as Bulova 30 but I don't see any indication that Bulova used that name in the 70's. For now I would have to say this is an Unknown model. Thanks for sharing it.
I wanted to follow up on this watch I shared a few years ago. I was finally able to get my hands on some proper tools to open up the caseback.
When I did, I was very surprised to find a micro rotor movement, model "12EBAC".
Here are a few more pictures...
Andersok, thanks for the reply, I did not have to do any restoration, the brown discoloration on the watch the I first bought it turned out to be just dirt and gunk build up, I carefully cleaned it off and found that the electroplate was not damaged at all.
I recently saw a post on Reddit from a user inquiring about this same model, so now I can say I have seen another one. :)
