I have a watch that I am unsure of the age or details. It was my great aunt's and she has passed. The watch is a Bulova ladies white gold watch. The face is shaped like a football. It has the number 23 on the watch face and the word Bulova. The 12 and the 6 are on the face but all other numbers are represented by a dash. It has (what I think are) diamonds on the top and bottom of the watch piece where the band attaches. The diamonds are approximately 1/6 to 1/5 carot sized. On the back of the watch it says 14K gold and the number 721096
I found several models in the mid to late 60s with this shape case and 23 jewel movements. The Candlelight, the Godess of Time, the La Petite, and the First Lady. None of them have the right diamonds though. The Diamond Contessa "A" is the closest I could find but not an exact match.
Hi Rangegal, welcome to mybulova. Look at the back of the case for a 2 character mark consisting of a letter and number., like "M3", "N5" or "L8". That will date the watch for starters and we can progress from there. I also suspect the watch dates in the 1960's at this point.
