Watch Description

The date code states this would be a women's watch made in 1946, but I'm not sure if that is the case.  The back reads M9 (pre sea king whale?) and has case serial number G335904.  Back also reads anti-magnetic, water resistant, gold plated bezel.

What makes you think it's a lades watch?

M9 makes your watch from 1969. It is a men's watch.

The guide states that if the case serial number starts with a G, it is a women's watch made in 1946, but now I can see I was confusing case serial number with model number. Thank you all for your help.

Mine is different than that one in that mine does not have the whale image on the bezel.

Andy - the missing whale is not important to the ID of the watch, some had him, some didn't
