Watch Description

A twin for the ole President A except they did not make them like this in 1966. I gathered from the member database this has been discussed as a rebadge of the President to a Squadron ‘L’ in the series. The 12 o’clock marker and hands on some of those years look different. Not sure how long this model lasted. Did not see one as late as 1966, so thought I’d see if that model still fits this one. Thanks!

Bulova had a habit of changing the variant in the 60s for the same watch.

I find this one in 1966 as the Squadron 'S' ('T' for black dial)

Howdy KA,

Thanks for the ID ! The triple baton at the ‘12’ position was what puzzled me most about it in doing comparisons. I guess the band is likely original as well based on the photo. This one should ‘pretty up’ nicely hopefully. Taken a page from you I guess and have begun to shy away from basket type pieces.  I have more watches than time anymore to try and restore them to respectability. Your input is appreciated as always.

I hadn't noticed the band, but I do believe it matches the original...very nice to have the original band. It should look quite nice when you finish!
